Germany has been experiencing a mini heat wave over the past week. The good news, everything is growing like mad. The bad news, it’s hard to sleep at night. No air conditioning in the older homes. The hazel nut tree is full of leaves and the planters on the balcony are filling out. We are heading out of town for a few days.
I took a side street while driving in the hamlet today. Fortunately for me, I had the camera when I spotted the flowers that had been planted on a corner. They were blooming nicely. Whoever went to the trouble of planting them left the packages they came in for easy identification, but I had neither pen nor paper. A few quick shots is all that I had time for.
